At Horse and a Half, every product is handmade to order by me — Ashley. I put a lot of care into every stitch, and I want you to feel confident shopping with me. This page covers everything you need to know about returns, payments, privacy and the terms of shopping with Horse and a Half.


Returns & Store Credit

I want you to love what you receive. While I don't offer full refunds for change of mind, I do offer a store credit to the value of your purchase, valid for 12 months from the original purchase date.

To be eligible for a store credit, items must be:

  • Returned in AS NEW condition — unworn, undamaged, with all tags attached and no sign of use
  • Returned within a reasonable timeframe of receiving your order

Please note:

  • Sale items cannot be returned or credited
  • Custom designed orders cannot be returned, refunded or credited — these are made specifically for you
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer. Tracked postage is strongly recommended as I cannot be responsible for items lost in transit

Faulty Items

I take real pride in the quality of every product I make. If something arrives with a manufacturing fault within 30 days of receiving your order, please get in touch at ashley@horseandahalf.com.au and I'll organise a replacement or store credit for you.

Please note this does not cover wear and tear, poor handling, or misuse.


Payments

I accept the following payment methods:

  • Visa, Mastercard and Amex
  • Afterpay — by using Afterpay you agree to their terms and conditions, available at afterpay.com/en-AU/terms-of-service
  • Paypal - by using Paypal you agree to their terms and conditions
  • Bank transfer — orders will not be made or shipped until funds have cleared

Gift Cards

Gift cards are available for purchase and use online only. They cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and are valid for three years from the date of purchase.


Promotions & Sales

From time to time I'll run promotions, discount codes or sales. These are subject to the advertised promotional period and stock availability. Orders placed outside of the stated promotional period are not eligible for the discounted pricing.

All promotions are at Horse and a Half's sole discretion and may be varied, ended or withdrawn without notice.


Your Privacy

When you place an order or browse horseandahalf.com.au, I collect basic personal information — like your name, email address, mailing address and IP address — to process your order and improve your experience on the site.

I will never sell your personal information. Ever.

How your information is used:

  • To process and fulfil your order
  • To send you tracking and order updates
  • To send you marketing emails if you've opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time)

Third parties: Some third-party providers — such as payment processors and shipping carriers — receive the information necessary to complete your transaction. These providers have their own privacy policies and I encourage you to review them.

Horse and a Half uses Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. This data is anonymised and helps me make the site better for everyone.

Cookies: This site uses cookies to personalise your experience. You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings — the site will still work, though some features may be limited.

Withdrawing consent: If you've opted into marketing emails and change your mind, you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email, or by contacting me directly at ashley@horseandahalf.com.au.

I reserve the right to update this policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon being posted to the site.
